Doctoral Program Requirement and Courses for graduation
1.        The doctoral students required minimum 22 credits to get the degree, which could be obtained from two categories:
☆ Compulsory Courses: 16 Credits 
☆ Elective Courses: 6 Credits from Elective Courses (entries 1 ~ 11)

2.       The students can also take other departments elective courses as well as Master program’s elective courses of their own department in case of the above eleven elective courses are not available, which required the approval of his / or her research advisor as well as         the head of department.

3.       Every student must choose Independent Study course after the Second year. Although their credits will be shown on transcript, they will not be counted for the graduation.

A. Oral Examination 
based on a Research Proposal
B. As the key author of two SCI papers
, one of which must be top 33%.
C. Thesis defense

 

5.       Each international student in our department is required to take the online Academic Research Ethics Education course and pass the test to obtain a certification. This certification is demanded when you apply for the oral examination of academic degree, which means that your application will not be approved without having such a document. Therefore, for those who fail the test for the first time, a retake of the course with the least delay is strongly suggested.
